dc.description.abstractThis study is aimed to highlight the possibility of using a corona treatment for fiber surface activation, which can facilitate the loading of colloidal TiO2 nanoparticles onto the polyester fabrics and thus improve their antibacterial and self-cleaning properties. The results indicate that the antibacterial efficiency against Gram-negative bacterium Escherichia coli is highly affected by the nature of colloidal TiO2 nanoparticles. Illuminated polyester fabrics loaded with TiO2 nanoparticles exhibit satisfactory self-cleaning properties efficiency.sr
