The aim of this study was to investigate the antimicrobial properties of hemp fabrics loaded with colloidal Ag nanoparticles. The influence of initial concentration of Ag colloids on the antimicrobial efficiency of hemp fabrics against Gram-negative bacterium Escherichia coli, Gram-positive bacterium Staphylococcus aureus and fungus Candida albicans was examined. Despite the small amount of Ag in the fabrics after loading from colloids, hemp fabrics exhibited excellent antimicrobial efficiency.sr
