Simultaneous extraction of copper and indium with chelate extractants (LIX84 and D2EHPA) was described. Stechiometry of metal-organic complexes examined using the method of equimolar ratios resulted in CuR2 and InR3 forms of hydrophobic extracting species. A linear correlation was obtained between logarithm of distribution coefficients and chelate agents and pH, respectively. Selectivity is generaly higher with higher concentrations of chelate agents in the organic phase, and is decreased with increase of concentration of hydrogen ions in feeding phase.sr
