AB - A series of Ni+WC composite coatings were obtained by electrodeposition on a rotating disc electrode (RDE)from a commercially available Watts bath containing additives for brightness and smoothing and insoluble WCparticles, using either constant or pulsating current. It was shown that the amount of WC embedded in the coatingcould vary from a few percent to over 80% depending on the rotation rate and the current density of deposition.Higher amounts (over 50 mass%) of embedded WC particles could be obtained only at rotation rates higher than2000 rpm. It was also shown that the concentration of insoluble WC particles in the Watts bath has no significantinfluence on the amount of WC embedded in the coating, enabling the use of dilute mixtures (2 mass%ofWC in thesolution). At higher amounts of embedded WC particles, rough deposits were obtained with the WC particles beingmostly incorporated in agglomerates of different sizes (from about 50 lm to about 100 lm). It was also shown thatunder the same conditions of electrodeposition, higher amounts of embedded WC particles could be obtained fromsolutions containing smaller particles.

AB - Gas chromatographic molecular retention indices for series of 20 synthesized N-methyl-N-substituded benzamides on DB-1, DB-5 and DB-WAX capillary columns isothermal at 170. 190 and 200 ⁰C were determined and the basis of molecular retention indices, ∆Me. ∆Meₒ, and µ were alculated and discussed.
AB - U radu su izračunati molekularni retencioni indeksi za seriju 20 sintetizovanih N-metil-N-supstituisanih benzamida, opšte formule C6H5CONRCH3, pri čemu R predstavija sledeće grupe: metil, etil, n-propil, n-butil, n-pentil, n-heksil, n-pentil, 1-metiletil, 1-metilpropil, 2,2-dimetilpropil, 2-metipropil, 1, 1-dimetiletil, ciklopropil, ciklobutil, ciklopentil, cikloheksil, cikloheptil, fenil, benzil i 2-feniletil, na tri temperature

(170, 190 i 210 ⁰C) i tri kolone različite polarnosti (DB-1, DB-5 i DB-WAX). Na osnovu dobijenih vrednosti za molekularni retencioni indeks (Me) izracunata je vrednost ∆Me i određena konstanta µ koja ukazuje na uticaj veličine supstituenata na retencioni indeks jedinjenja.
