Abstract
The thermal shock stability of ceramic materials can be characterized using critical temperature difference or resistance parameters. Resistance parameters R and Rst are used in this paper. Two ways of representing thermal stability of ceramic materials are compared in this paper: f(Bi) ΔTc is represented as a function of R and Rst. This method shows that linear correlation of the fracture resistance parameters R and Rst with critical temperature difference is acceptable.
