dc.description.abstractThe kinetics and mechanism of the sulphatization of manganese slime from the zinc electrolysis with Fe(ll) sulphate was studied. The priority of chemical reactions was determined on the basis of the results of thermodynamic calculations and experimental research. The sulphatization of manganese by Fe(ll) sulphate was carried out in the temperature range 723-973 K. The kinetics of the process were determined by the analysis of dependence of the manganese sulphatization rate on time and temperature. It was established that manganese sulphatization is a diffusion and chemically controlled reaction (mixed kinetics).en
