Purification of Textile Dyehouse Effluents
Textile industry is great consumer of water and producer of high amounts of effluents. Dyehouse effluents tend to be significant source of pollution due to numerous compounds being present in dyebaths together with dyes. Increasingly stringent environmental regulations impose new requests to textile industry. In order to obtain waste-water of appropriate quality, conventional activated sludge treatments should be combined with some more efficient chemical and physical treatments like flocculation, oxidation, adsorption or filtration.
