Influence of the woven construction on breaking load and relaxation
Uticaj Konstrukcije Tkanine na Prekidnu Silu i Relaksaciju
Abstract
A study is made to establish the correlation between a woven construction and its mechanical strength. Dynamometric tests are carried out to determine the breaking load and breaking extension of three wooltype fabrics, as well as their relaxation. It is shown that the binding factor - the ratio of the interlacing area to the total area of the fabric - affects the breaking load and breaking extension of a 70/30 wool/ polyester fabric, as well as the component distribution of total deformation.
