Enhancement of spent grain quality for animal feed after bioethanol production

Abstract
Valorization of by-products of bioethanol production is a subject of particular interest. By adequate valorization of by-products the economy of bioethanol production could be enhanced and ecological problem of biological waste could be solved. The aims of this work were to enrich the spent grain after bioethanol production with different yeast cells and probiotic lactic bacteria and to optimise of its chemical composition to meet standards for use as animal feed.
Valorizacija sporednih, odnosno otpadnih proizvoda nakon proizvodnje etanola predstavlja predmet proučavanja od posebnog značaja. Pre svega, tržišna vrednost ovih proizvoda može značajno da doprinese ekonomičnosti proizvodnje etanola, a njihovim iskorišćavanjem rešava se i ekološki problem odlaganja velike količine biološkog otpada. U radu će se izvršiti obogaćivanje džibre nakon odvajanje bioetanola dobijenog fermentacijom kukuruznog brašna sa različitim kulturama živih ćelija kvasca, bez i sa dodatkom izabranih probiotskih bakterija mlečne kiseline i analizirati hemijski sastav dobijenih smeša sa nutritivnog aspekta.
