Application of modern technology in the production of paper for saving energy
Abstract
All researches conducted with the objective of energy savings in paper industry point out that today in Yugoslavia and South East Europe this industrial branch consumes 30-40% more specific energy than Western Europe. The reason lies in the obsolete technology and in insufficient technical discipline. This study implies application of new technologies in which all investments are paid back within 1 to 15 months and the capacities of the paper machines are increased up to 40%.
