Abstract
The identification and classification of microorganisams are of crucial importance in environmental. Industrial, medical and agricultural microbiology and microbial ecology. For a long time, microbial taxonomy was considered as one of the most boring fields, in microbiology. Basic research on lactic acid bacterial and their application in industrial food fermentations required reliable and simple methods for identification, because many lactic acid bacteria have similar nutritional and growth requirements and it is very difficult to identify them by classical methods. The conventional methods for identification of lactic acid bacteria, such as morphology, biochemical tests are time-consuming and sometimes lead to ambiguous results. Spectacular developments in the last 10 years in the field of sequencing of rRNA and genes coding for rRNA allow reliable identification and determination microbes by using different milecular biology methods. Each of these methods permits certain level of p...hylogenetic classification, from the genus, species, subspecies, biovar to the strain specific level. .
Identifikacija i klasifikacija mikroorganizama zauzima veoma važno mesto u industrijskoj, medicinskoj, poljoprivrednoj i ekološkoj mikrobiolgoiji. Dugo vremena je taksonomija mikroorganizama smatrana dosadnom oblašću mikrobiologije. Mnoge bakterije mlečne kiseline imaju slične zahteve u pogledu ishrane i uslova uzgajanja, što dodatno otežava njihovu identifikaciju do sada poznatim klasičnim metodama. Klasični biohemijski testovi vremenski dugo traju, a tumačenje tako dobijenih rezultata ponekad dovodi do pogrešne determinacije. U poslednjih 10 godina, sekvenciranje rRNK i gena koji kodiraju rRNK, omogućena je identifikacija i klasifikacija mikroorganizama korišćenjem molekularnih metoda. Svaka od molekularnih metoda omogućava određen nivo filogenetske klasifikacije do vrste, podvrste, biovariteta i soja. .
