dc.description.abstract | The thermal stability of the refractory material with the Al 2 O 3 content of 42 mass-% was investigated. Water quench tests (JUS.B.D8.319.) were carried out. The dynamic Young modulus of elasticity was calculated using measured values of longitudinal (Vp) and transversal (Vs) velocities. Mechanical characteristics were considered such as compressive strength, dynamic modulus of elasticity and resistance parameters resulting from resonance frequency measurements as well as ultrasonic velocity. An analysis of the thermal shock behaviour of the samples based on the obtained results is provided. | en |
