dc.description.abstractGeopolymerization presents alkali activation of aluminosilicate material yielding the solid product called “geopolymer”. Chemical composition of source material i.e. the Ca content, greatly influences the properties of geopolymers. Hence, the aim of this research was to investigate the influence of source materials with different chemical compositions (low grade bauxite and electric arc furnaces slag) on the compressive strength of geopolymers. The results have shown that slag based geopolymers are characterized by higher compressive strength in comparison to the bauxite based geopolymers.sr
dc.description.abstractGeopolimerizacija pretstavlja alkalnu aktivaciju alumosilikatnog materijala kojom se dobija čvrsti produkt koji se popularno naziva geopolimer. Hemijski sastav polaznog materijala odnosno sadržaj Ca u velikoj mjeri utiče na osobine geopolimera. Stoga je ovo istraživanje imalo za cilj da ispita uticaj polaznih sirovina različitog hemijskog sastava (bijelog boksita i elektropećne šljake) na pritisnu čvrstoću geopolimera. Rezultati su pokazali da se geopolimeri na bazi šljake karakterišu većom pritisnom čvrstoćom u odnosu na geopolimere na bazi bijelog boksita.sr
