The photo degradation of synthetic dyes under visible and solar light as a method for the removal of synthetic dyes from water and wastewater was reviewed. The mechanisms of photo degradation are presented. The influence of catalysts, inorganic ions and other substances on photo degradation was discussed.
U radu se razmatra fotodegradacija sintetskih boja pomoću vidljive i Sunčeve svetlosti kao načina za uklanjanje sintetskih boja iz voda i otpadnih voda. Prikazani su odgovarajući mehanizmi fotodegradacija boja. Data je struktura nekih od češće proučavanih boja, a na primeru dve boje prikazani su putevi njihove fotodegradacije.
