Abstract
Intensive development of the electrical and electronic equipment industry causes generation of high quantities of specific wastes. Recycling of waste from electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) is an important subject not only from the point of waste treatment but also from the recovery of valuable materials. In the present study, physical and chemical properties, hazardous component of WEEE, mechanical and chemical recycling technologies review are presented. EU directives WEEE will be appreciated in 2006. with the aim to force a manufacturers to reuse the own products and recycling a 65% of their average weight.
