Effect of hydrogels based on 2-hydroxyethyl methacrilate to chemiluminescent activity of rat peritoneal macrophages
Efekat hidrogelova na bazi 2-hidroksietil metakrilata na hemiluminescentnu aktivnost peritonealnih makrofaga pacova
Apstrakt
The aim of this study was to examine the effect of hydrogels different chemical construction and synthesized under different conditions, to oxidative activity of rat peritoneal macrophages. The hydrogels are synthesized by radiation and chemical polymerization of 2-hydroxyethylmethacrylate (HEMA), copolymerization of HEMA with itaconic acid (IA), and copolymerization of HEMA, IA with poly(alkylene glycol) (met)acrylates-Bisomers. After incubation materials with macrophages, the effect of hydrogels was examine. All of tested materials reduct chemiluminescent activity of zimozan stimulated macrophages. Radiation polimerized PHEMA shows high inhibitory effect than chemical polimerized PHEMA. Hydrogels with more itaconic acid show high reducity effect, too. Different conditions of polimerization show differences in reducity effects to chemiluminescent activity of macrophages only in definite (order) reference (relation) between components of copolymers.
Hidrogelovi su dobijeni termički (hemijski) i radijaciono indukovanom polimerizacijom 2-hidroksietil metakrilata (HEMA) kopolimerizacijom HEMA i itakonske kiseline (IK), kao i kopolimerizacijom HEMA, IK i poli(alkilen glikol) (met)akrilata-Bisomeri (BIS).
