An apparatus for assessment of technical textiles electrical behavior
Abstract
An arrangement consisting of two methods for determination of textile materials electric resistance has been developed. One of them is based on the measurement of the current intensity through the examined sample, and the other one on recording the discharging dynamics of a capacitor through the sample. The facilities for testing textile materials in fiber, yarn and fabric form qualify this equipment as useful and reliable for examination of both apparel and technical textiles.
